or mashed with gravy.
I think Richard Brautigan
was right about fried potatoes
and let's be honest and shameless
they are great with lots of sauce.
When it comes to rice and beans,
they are as sustainable as the joy
that I find in their textural relationship
which is steamy and hot.
I don't know what it is about chilis
especially the red ones, like tomatoes
full and plump with a metallic robustness
and electric heat that I conduct.
